Seeing that Long Islanders have being riding Atlantic waves since 1912, it would only be fitting to bring a competition to the East Coast. Quiksilver plans to draw top surfers to New York this September with a $1 million winning purse, taking place as part of the ASP world tour from September 4th to the 15th.
