Long Beach Residents Start Petition to Save Quiksilver Festival

Look at all the support that Quiksilver Pro New York is receiving from Long Beach residents! Long Beach residents have been walking the streets eager to get a petition signed to save the festival part of the surfing event.

New York Pro Will Go On!

The site of the Quik Pro NY - Long Beach, NY was hit hard by the storm surge from now Tropical Storm Irene, but the competition will proceed as planned. Due to weather conditions, Quiksilver had to stop event site preparations and will reassess the situation after the storm has passed and resume when it is safe to do so. They will continue to monitor the situation everyday between now and the end of the period and issue updates as necessary.
