Kelly Slater Wins Billabong Pro Tahiti!

Leave it up to 10X World Champ Kelly Slater to win yet another contest. The king of surfing dominated  the world famous break, Teahupo'o, catching perfect four-to-six foot waves. This is the 5th event of 11 on the 2011 ASP World Title season and 47th elite tour victory win for Slater.

Sun, Surf and 14 Acres of Sand

On August 7th, the weeklong event of the Nike U.S. Open of Surfing took place in Huntington Beach, Calif., ended with 10X world champ Kelly Slater taking home the $100,000 first place purse. More than 500,000 people were estimated to have shown up to watch the surf and skate competitions, as well as watch bands such as MGMT perform.

Quik Announces Free Concerts in Long Beach

The Quiksilver Pro New York will host the world's largest action sports and musical festival, said to have over 40 musical performances as well as Labor Day weekend appearances by Quiksilver, Roxy and DC athletes. The world tour's elite 34 global pro surfers will come to Long Beach to compete for the largest million-dollar purse in surfing history.
