Unfortunately the arrival of Hurricane Irene has resulted in the cancelation of the Long Beach music festival, but the Quiksilver Pro New York Surf Competition is still on! The competition is scheduled to begin its 11-day holding period on Sept. 5, with the Quik Pro Trials to being on Sept. 4 instead of Sept. 1.
