Balaram Stack is the first New Yorker to have a chance to make the pro surfing tour in more than 30 years and also recognized as the best surfer to come from Long Island. The 20-year-old Stack is competing in the Quiksilver Pro New York -- the ASP World Tour's first ever East Coast stop.
