This year's US Open of Surfing champ Kelly Slater is excited to have the Quik Pro New York on the east coast. "It's fun and unpredictable," something that is challenging but enjoyable to surfers. Though most people don't picture New York as a surf mecca, the understated territory may prove otherwise.
