A number of Quiksilver surfers were involved in this year's contest which brought excellent waves and first place to Tyler Newton. Peter Mel, Kanoa Igarashi were also in attendance as the two-day event gave thousands of spectators a rare sight to the private surf spot which is only open to the public for just a few days out of the year.
